SOX????
Well quite a day today with all the wind and traffic... it has been strenuous as well as productive. I've noticed that no one has responded to my query regarding internet access and if it fails. I'll update that myself if nobody care to comment.
It was very interesting day today. I had to meet with a custome rto discuss SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) compliance. Apparently they did not have a D/R plan in place never mind a backup of their production OS environment. I at least solved the OS backup problem but they have a long way to go to save their user data. Time will tell. Hey that's why us SYS Admins get the big bucks ..right??!!

Hi a new Blogger arises
This is my first blogging experience here so please bear with me.
I have been trying to start this project for the past year and finally bit the bullet today, the start of a new year, to put it in action.
I find that the Web has grown so large since the 80's, and needed in our everyday lives, that most things which we usually take for granted have now become necessities in our societly. For example .. imagine if your e-mail was suddenly unavailable or if your current internet connection was dropped. How would you handle it???!!!
